Where is it?

I Corinthians 14: 26 “How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.”

Zeal. Christian zeal is when we are so in love with Jesus that we must tell everyone about Him and His great love and mercy; when this is the case, our ‘church services’ will change! The old liturgy which starts with a prayer goes into the music portion transitions to the announcements and offering, then finally the preaching. Here we’ve come to the point of three points and a poem or hard preaching and gasping for air while doing it. I wonder what Jesus thinks of all this?

If we would go into the highways and byways and talk to people about Christ as is our calling, we would begin to see His handy work publicly! We, along with those we have talked and prayed with, would eagerly go the next time of service and begin to tell of the Lord’s goodness. This is all important because others would ‘catch this fire’ and soon services would be filled with people and the fervor of God upon man.

This is not a fantasy it is fact. The kavod or ‘weighty Presence’ of God would be upon the sanctuary and people would begin repenting before an ever Present Lord. Our formalities are like the vale Moses wore hiding the fact that the Presence of God has left and we preachers would repent and the fire would be shown in the pulpits again…not through fiery oratory but the manifested Presence of mercy and grace in the Person of Christ!

Some might say that I am ranting but, I am convinced once we have this understanding of His great grace and forgiveness we will truly be different. Our worship, our relationships, and our very lives! Commit your life truly to the Lord and sell out. No, you will not be perfect, just forgiven of your sin and eternally grateful.
