Ezekiel 38 10-12 “Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.”
The events of late have caused me to ponder the book of Ezekiel especially chapter 38 with awe. Nations are lining up for a future event that will take a decided toll on the enemies of Israel. Many are looking at this beautifully renewed and restored ancient land while smacking their lips in anticipation of taking their portion of bounty of a defeated land. This is the furthest from the truth! God is still God!
While Israel acts in ways disturbing to some, we need to keep in mind that this tiny nation is preserving their heritage and very lives. It’s sad that many today are turning their hearts against the Jews and anti-Semitism is at levels I have not experienced in my nearly seventy years of life. The Jews are being blamed for everything and the heat is on! Erroneous reports abound and fan the flames of hatred globally; and, to make things a little more desirous the vast riches in the land make for demonic plans that will eventually come to fruition.
The movements of the present day may or may not be this prophecy however; it is not coincidence that the players named in this prophetic chapter are all now showing their face one way or another. One thing is very clear: Jesus is coming back for His church!
You may say, “I don’t believe in the ‘secret Rapture!” That is alright. But you know that something is about to happen in the world! You’re aware of the truly demonic activity that is occurring daily. Even the heathen are aware of something getting ready to happen! Make your peace with the Creator of all natural things today. God loves you and made a way for you to be at peace within. The daily news is testifying of His glory; do not hide your eyes from Him.
Christ made a way when there was no way. Place your trust in Him.
